1.Lack of music Promotion: A lot of upcoming artist do not know the essence of music promotion. Research made us understand that  upcoming artists can spend a lot in recording a song but wouldn't want to spend a dine on the promotion, which will later result to you keeping the songs you already recorded. For example, An upcoming artist can record a song at a cost of 7 to15,000 naira but cannot promote the song with 3000 naira.
I believe we have better musicians than Davido, Wizkid and Olamide but because of Lack of promotion they are not known

2. Lack of confidence; If you are not proud of what you do then it can't appreciate. Some upcoming Artists can't even play their songs outside because they are not sure of what they did.

3. Lack of good lyrics: Lyrics are what makes up good songs. Improve in your Lyrics and Make it simple and catchy .

4.Always doubting chances: If you're always doubting chances then you will never progress because sometimes those chances were made to help you. A lot of chances are out there for you...Wake up

5. Pride : I have seen a lot of proud upcoming artists, pride sends away helpers,Promoters, Event organisers and so on. Keep your ego down and be respectful cos that's the only thing that will bring helpers towards you.

6. Lack of Prayer: You need to always pray before you record any song  or perform on any stage.
